Description

  • 27.8 and 27.3 cm, 10 7/8  and 10 3/4  in.
the lobed bodies with six vertical panels brightly painted with ladies and flowers

Condition

These two vases are in generally good condition, with the exception of some shallow cracks along the base of the neck with some very tiny losses to one vase, some horizontal firing cracks to the shoulder, and a very small chip to the rim. There are some chips and cracks to the rim of the other vase (wider mouth), the largest approx. 1.3 x 0.3 cm). There are also some light surface wear and minor firing imperfections, including pinhole glaze pulls.
