Literature

Condition

The cavalry horse has restoration to the fore leg which has been broken off and repaired. Some scattered restoration to the reins and tips of ears. Chipping to leaves of base and wear to the decoration on the stirrups. The other example is restored to the top lobes of the half Sweeney harness, his ears and across the upper part of the hind left leg. This old restoration hides some loss and it is of reasonable appearance but discolouring slightly.
