  • 15.6 cm, 6 1/4  in.
the deep lobed and curved sides rising from a floret foot, set to one end with a ram-head handle, the stone of a pale celadon tone with some russet and caramel inclusions

Christie's London, 6th November 2012, lot 154.

Condition

The carving is in very good condition. There are natural caramel and russet-coloured inclusions running diagonally across the base of the interior of the washer and up the side as visible in the catalogue illustration. It should be noted that the catalogue illustration is slightly lighter in tome than the actual piece.
