Description

  • 32 cm, 12 1/2  in.
the baluster body rising from a spreading foot to a tall flaring neck set with a pair of high relief chilong handles, with raised bosses and bowstrings at the neck, irregularly splashed in gold around the exterior, the base with an apocryphal six-character Xuande mark

Condition

The vase is in good condition with the exception of the base being drilled through the mark, three small plugs (4cm overall) to the foot (probably original to hide a casting flaw) and some small casting flaw holes to the band encircling the foot,
