Description

  • 20.8 cm, 8 1/4  in.
the gently rounded sides rising from a short tapering foot to an everted rim, finely enamelled in the reverse to the interior in green with a medallion enclosing narcissus plants growing beside pierced ornamental rocks, lingzhi and branches bearing nandina berries, all reserved on a black ground, the exterior with the bajixiang born on a leafy scroll

Condition

This rare dish has a restored circa 19cm., hairline crack running through the middle of the body with an associated 5cm., wide crescent-shaped break at the rim and light glaze scratches.
