Description

  • 46 cm, 18 in.
the baluster body rising from a spreading base to a short narrow neck with rolled rim, painted around the exterior with shou medallions amidst lotus and ruyi clouds, the shoulder with a lotus-filled ruyi collar

Condition

There are restoration to the neck and minor glaze firing imperfections including burst glaze bubbles and some light glaze scratches. There is also a crack running around the area above the foot, visible under the UV light, with associated over-spray, which is possibly a luting line.
