Description

  • 36.3 cm, 14 1/4  in.
well potted with rounded sides supported on a tapered foot, brightly painted to the interior with a landscape scene and detailed with a recluse seated in a pavilion and looking out at the tranquil river, the exterior decorated with further rockwork, the base with a conch shell within a double circle

Condition

This brightly enamelled dish has restoration to a circa 18 x 9cm., crescent-shaped break at the rim, three circa 3cm., hairline rim cracks and light glaze scratches.
