Description
the flattened globular body rising from a short oval foot to a waisted neck and a metal-bound rim, flanked by a pair of chilong handles, covered overall with a brilliant rich purple glaze with milky-blue and lavender streaks, the base with a four-character mark in underglaze blue

Condition
The mouth of this vase has been reduced and wrapped with metal band, hence the area beneath it cannot be examined. There are general wear and scratches to the surface, and firing imperfections including glaze crackles and numerous burst glaze bubbles. There are some chips to the foot and the glaze around it.
