Description

  • 13.6 cm, 5 3/8  in. 
the compressed globular body rising from a short spreading foot to a flaring neck and rim, set at the shoulder with a pair of simple loop handles, the base cast with a four-character mark reading Yutang zhenwan, the metal patinated to a rich dark toffee tone

Condition

This censer is in good condition, with the exception of some general shallow dents and wear to the surface. The actual colour is of a slightly more red tone than the catalogue illustration.
