Description

  • 13.5 cm, 5 1/4  in.
the compressed globular body rising from three short columnar legs to a short neck with flaring everted rim, the base cast with an apocryphal four-character Xuande reign mark, the metal patinated to an even golden-brown tone

Condition

This censer is in good condition, with the exception of some general surface wear and minor manufacturing flaws. The actual colour is more of a warm-reddish tone compared to the catalogue illustrations.
