Description

  • 20 cm, 7 7/8  in.
the compressed globular body rising from a short spreading foot to a waisted neck with everted rim, set at the shoulder with a pair of simple loop handles, the base cast with an apocryphal six-character Xuande reign mark within a rectangle and encircled by a pair of low relief scaly five-clawed dragons

Condition

This censer is in good condition, with the exception of some general surface wear and minor manufacturing flaws. The actual colour is of a slightly more warm-red tone compared to the catalogue illustration.
