Description

  • 34.2 cm, 13 1/2  in.
of slightly tapering cylindrical form with a flared rim flanked by a pair of upright loop handles, raised on three prominent elephant-head feet, the base with an apocryphal six-character Xuande mark

Condition

There are several patchings to the body (the largest approx. 2 x 0.4 cm). The surface with some general surface wear, consistent with age and use. The actual colour with a slightly more copper tone compared to the catalogue illustration.
