the pear-shaped body supported on a spreading foot and rising to a waisted neck and a flared rim, painted in the central band with brown-coloured stylised birds and leaves against white ground, all between two brown-coloured glaze bands, the glaze falling short near the foot revealing a pale buff-coloured body

This vase is generally good condition, apart from a small chip (approx. 0.7 x 0.5 cm) to the rim, some minor firing imperfections including burst bubbles and glaze pulls,and light surface wear.
