Description

  • 12.9 cm, 5 1/8  in.
of conical form, the finely potted wide sides supported on a short foot, applied overall with a reddish-brown glaze , thinning at the rim to a dark brown tone, stopping before the foot to reveal the fine buff body

Condition

This bowl is in generally good condition, with the exception of some light wear to the matte surface, and minor firing imperfections, including glaze pulls and glaze unevenness. There is a short diagonal chip to the foot (approx. 0.7 cm), which may have occurred in the manufacturing process. The actual colour is of a slightly more persimmon-red tone compared to the catalogue illustration.
