Description

  • 12 cm, 5 1/2  in.
the ovoid body rising from a flat foot and countersunk base to a rounded shoulder and lipped rim, covered overall in a russet-brown glaze stopping neatly around the foot to reveal the buff-gray body

Condition

This jar is in overall good condition, with the exception of surface wear and minor firing imperfections, including tiny glaze pulls, burst bubbles and glaze unevenness, in particularly to the are near the base. The foot with 2 drill holes. The actual colour is of a more persimmon tone than the catalogue illustration.
