Description

  • 21 cm, 8 1/4  in.
the flared sides rising from a short foot to a six-lobed rim, the interior freely carved with a single lotus bloom borne on leafy stems, covered overall in a creamy ivory glaze

Condition

This dish is in generally good condition, with the exception of a small restoration to the rim (approx. 0.7 x 0.4 cm), and some firing imperfections throughout, including numerous burst bubbles and glaze pulls, minor chips to the foot and iron spots. There are also some light wear to the surface and the rim. The actual colour is of a slightly more creamy-white tone than the catalogue illustration.
