Description

  • 9.8 cm, 3 7/8  in.
the warmer with rounded sides rising from a short straight foot to a gilt rim, painted with alternating dragon and phoenix roundels in green enamel all between a lappet border above the foot and stylised ruyi scrolls below the rim, surmounted by a cup with straight sides rising from a tapered foot to a flared rim, the exterior similarly decorated, the base inscribed with a six-character seal mark in iron-red

Condition

This wine cup and warmer are in very good condition, apart from some wear and scratches to the surface, as well as minor rubbings and losses to the enamels and gilding.
