  • 7.5 cm, 3 in.
the lobed ovoid body rising from a short straight foot to a short tapering neck, covered overall in an ice-blue glaze falling short of the foot, the similarly glazed floral-shaped cover centred with a flower and detailed with floral sprigs enclosed within petals

Condition

There are some chips to foot and base of the jar (the largest approx. 0.9 x 0.6 cm). The cover, which is likely matched, has a restored chip to the rim (approx. 1.8 x 0.4 cm). There are also minor firing imperfections throughout and nicks to the extremities. The actual colour is slightly lighter than the catalogue illustration.
