carved seated on a throne, wearing a long flowing robe falling in gentle folds around the arms and legs, the face with gentle smile and the hair piled into a high top knot, the stone of dark grey tone, black marble mount

Purchased from Kugel, Paris, 9th September, 1981.

Condition

The figure is in good condition with the exception of repair around the next suggesting the head may have been detached, and a matrix of hairline cracks around the head.
