Description

  • 6.5 cm, 2 3/5  in.
rendered as a double gourd with further smaller attendant fruits borne on leafy vines with curling tendrils, with a bat perched near the top of the main fruit, the stone of an even pale celadon tone

Condition

This carving is in good condition, with the exception of two shallow chips to the wing of the bat (the larger approx. 0.6 x 0.3 cm), three small chips to the leaves (the larger approx. 0.7 cm) and some natural fissures throughout.
