Description

  • 7 cm, 2 3/4  in.
naturalistically carved as a blossoming peony with curled petals, borne on ribbon-tied leafy stems, the stone of an even pale celadon tone, fitted wood stand

Condition

There are areas of losses to the lower portion of the leafy stems to one side, with associated polishing. There are small chips with associated losses to the area above the knot. There are also some nicks to the extremities. The actual colour is slightly paler than the catalogue illustration.
