Description

  • 8.9 cm, 3 1/2  in.
the deep flaring sides carved in high relief and openwork in the form of a trunk section, the exterior depicting gnarled branches issuing budding and flowering prunus

Condition

There are a few chips to the rim (the largest approx. 0.5 cm) and cracks to the rim, several losses to the high-relief decorations, including a branch to the lower half of the cup. There are also some general cracks and wear to the surface, consistent with age.
