Description

  • Height 13.5 cm, 5 1/4  in.
carved in the form of two tree trunks, one face carved in openwork with a phoenix standing on rocks and gnarled branches bearing clusters of pine needles, the other with further pine blossoms and bamboo shoots on the side, the stone of a variegated green colour with dark specks

Condition

This is in overall very good condition apart from some minute nicks to extremities. The colour of the stone is slightly darker than illustrated.
