Description

  • 13 cm, 5 in.
carved as a broad lotus pad, the front with curling leafy stems issuing a large lotus flower, the reverse with a lotus bud and leafy sprigs, wood stand

Condition

One of the leaves to the exterior of the plaque has a crack, which may have broken off and restored. There are further shallow cracks to the leaves, general surface wear, nicks to the extremities and natural inclusions. The actual colour is of a slightly more orange-pink tone compared to the catalogue illustration.
