Les temples miniatures en pierre dont les linteaux sont surmontés de personnages constituent une version rare de ces énigmatiques formes architecturales. Ici, la figure dont la représentation en pied se fond dans la structure renforce le concept mésoaméricain selon lequel l'âme du défunt passe à travers les portails du temple pour accéder à l'autre monde. The stone temple models carved with figures above the lintels are a rare version of these enigmatic architectural forms. The fully modeled figure integrated to the structure here reinforces the concept that the soul of the deceased passes through the portals of the temple to the other world.
