Condition

Good overall condition. The silver presents with some light wear and with scattered surface, scratches and a few tiny dents, consistent with age and use. The surface presents with extremely light surface oxidation and with a few extremely rare and tiny oxidation stains. The tines of some forks are very slightly bent. The knives blades appear to have been replaced with older blades at a later time and present with some wear and pitting of oxidation (Sotheby’s was not able to remove the instances of pitting using usual silver polish). Some soiling and oxidation in the recessed areas.
