Collection of Josephine P. Albright (1913–1996).
Gifted to the Art Institute of Chicago, Chicago, in memory of Alice Higinbotham Patterson (1878-1966) in 1967 (acc. no. 1967.364).

Condition

With restoration at typical areas including the legs, tail, forelock, ears, and extremities, characteristic of age and type. Areas of the mane and saddle have also been restored, and with losses to the trappings and extremities.
