Bequest to the Art Institute of Chicago, Chicago, in 1964 (acc. nos 1964.845 & 1964.851).

Condition

The conical bowl with two small chips to the rim, one with an associated short crack. The rim is slightly warped. The other bowl with two cracks to the rim, the longest measuring approx. 4.6 cm long. There is also a small star-shaped glaze crack to the cavetto. Some scattered chips to the rim and foot. Both bowls with expected age-related wear and minor firing imperfections.
