Condition

Both with scattered losses, fraying and areas of instability of the feather inlay and gilt thread decoration. The black textile backing with wear, fraying around the edges and in one of the panels the backing is loose from the frame along the top edge, with tears and associated losses.There has been some fading of the colors from age and wear overall consistent with age and type. Hongmu stands and frames. Please note that this lot includes a stand, frame or other component made from a type of Chinese hardwood, which, if exported, will require a CITES permit to leave the United States.
