  • Diameter 5 in., 12.7 cm
finely incised with dragon roundels, the base with a six-character mark in underglaze blue

Sotheby Parke-Bernet, 9th June 1976, lot 82 (part lot).

Condition

Approximately half the rim and neck with old restoration, with possibly filled-in losses. There is an associated stained hairline extending down the body and splitting into an inverted T shape mid-way down the body. There is also an area of loss to the footring measuring approx. 5.5 cm in length.Overall with minor firing imperfections and surface wear. The base with one small rectangular label inscribed '304P' and one circular label inscribed 'SPB 82/3'.
