  • Diameter 4 1/4  in., 10.8 cm
the interior with a central shou medallion, the base inscribed with a seal mark in underglaze blue

Provenance

Collection of Gordon Walters MacDougall (1872-1947), acquired between the 1910s-1920s, and thence by descent.

Condition

There is a approx. 2 x 0.8 cm section of the rim out and restuck in two triangular pieces, the surface with traces of glue, with an associated Y-shaped hairline extending down the side of the bowl. The interior base with several small kiln adhesions and overall with minor firing imperfections and surface wear.
