Condition

The canvas has been lined and backed with a thin sheet of plastic. There is craquelure throughout the work, however, this is stable. Otherwise the work appears to be in fair condition and is clean and ready to hang. UV light inspection reveals felcked retouchings and infilling to the craquelure notably in the centre of the composition. Held in a simple gold frame.
