  • 225cm. high, 155cm. wide, 59cm. deep; 7ft. 4½in., 5ft. 1in., 1ft. 11½in.
with boxwood and checker-banded inlay, the panelled doors with large single plank sections of mahogany, the upper section with hanging space, the lower with a shelf to each side, possibly formerly fitted into the fabric of a room or part of a larger cupboard

Condition

As stated in the catalogue possibly formerly fitted into the fabric of a room or part of a larger cupboard. There is evidence of re-configuration and sides appear re-polished in the early 20th century possibly when alterations took place. Old worm to pine backboards. Some later internal screws and batons. Lovely quality. Faded in places. Old marks, scuffs and scratches to the piece. Dis-colouration around lock and handle sites. Square shooting bolts. Comes in two parts and cornice comes of for easy moving.
