- signed with monogram l.r. and signed, inscribed and dated 1860 on the reverse
- oil on canvas, oval
- 61cm. by 51cm., 24in. by 20in.
Condition
Original canvas. Areas of fine craquelure throughout and some paint seperation notably to the sitter's head. Some specks of surface dirt. UV light inspection reveals some flecked retouchings and infilling throughout. Held in a decorative pierced gilt painted composition frame with some wear.
