Description

Set with an oval sapphire weighing 5.53 carats, within a surround of brilliant-cut diamonds, size 461/2 (sizing beads), French assay mark for platinum (950°/00), gross weight approximately 10.41 grams.

Condition

Accompanied by LFG report no. 302592, dated 4 April 2014, stating that the sapphire measuring 10.40 x 8.73 x 6.40mm is of Ceylon origin (Sri Lanka), with no indications of thermal enhancement. Chips on facet edges visible to the naked eye. Diamonds bright and lively, estimated to weigh a totalm of approximately 1.30 - 1.40 carats as gauged in the mount. Stamped with French assay mark for platinum, sizing beads. Overall in good condition. Gross weight approximately 10.41 grams.
