mounted with four pictoral playing cards depicting Edward, Prince of Wales, King George III, King Henry VIII, and Queen Phillipa, behind bevelled glass, the morocco leather interior spring-loaded and rising to reveal three compartments, on four bracket feet

Condition

Hallmarks clear to the lower-rim of the body. Two feet splitting away slightly from the base, does not quite sit flat on an even surface. The front perspex panel is loosely fitting. A couple of the edges with slight bruising. The springed interior is still intact but some of the morrocco leather is worn/lost at the edges and corners as well as the interior cover. A rare object.
