Provenance

Acquired directly from the Artist by the present owners

Exhibited

London, Royal Academy of Arts, The 244th Royal Academy of Arts Summer Exhibition, 4th June - 12th August 2012, cat. no.1330.

Condition

The canvas is original. There is some very minor reticulation towards the extreme edges, only visible upon extremely close inspection. There is one instance of studio detritus in the paint, to the lower left of centre. There is some light surface dust. This excepting the work appears to be in excellent overall condition. Inspection under ultra violet light reveals fluorescence in keeping with the Artist's intentions, and areas of inconsistent varnish. The work is floated within a white metal slip frame.
