This work is in good overall condition as viewed. There is evidence of wear and losses along the edges of the work due to abrasions with the frame, but these do not affect the overall image as they are covered by the frame itself. There are some areas of craquelure, primarily along the edges of the work and most notably along the bottom edge. There are some small accretions to the yellow pigment in between the hair and chest of the two girls. There is a minor scratch to the yellow pigment at the bottom left edge. Examination under ultraviolet light reveals a horizontal area of restoration along the left woman's stomach (which is visible to the naked eye as well) and a very minor spot of restoration above the same woman's jawline and at her upper arm. Framed.
