Condition

Original Canvas. Unlined. Appears sound. There is a seam running horizontally across the lower half of the work where the canvas is joined. Upon very close inspection there are very minor stretcher marks visible along all four edges of the work. There appears to be a handful of areas where excess oil paint/stick is loose and is at risk of falling off. Please note that the oil stick protrudes from the canvas slightly and appears to be at risk of smudging if touched. All of this appears to be the artists intent and contemporary with the creation of the work. Overall, the work appears to be in very good condition. UV Light Report: Inspection under UV light reveals no signs of restoration or repair.
