Catalogue Note

Mario Diacono, KA Da Kounellis ad Acconci, Arte materia concetto 1960-1975, Milano 2013, p. 11 "The collective industrial road signs, cultural arithmetic directions (...) the circle, the square, the chessboard, the prohibitions and walking paths. If the foot moves to the West, a mental arrow is being sent to East, but the sign that multiplies testifies a prohibition while freedom deviates towards the desert in the filthy South."
