Marcello Fantoni è riconosciuto dalla critica come l’artista che riuscì a conciliare uno stile antico, in particolare quello etrusco, a varie linee espressive contemporanee. Questo Vaso del 1956 presenta una composizione dal carattere quasi preistorico, dove le forme angolate e i disegni incisi son interpretati in senso arcaico.

Marcello Fantoni is critically acknowledged as the artist who successfully reconciled ancient styles, in particular the Etruscan style, with various contemporary expressions. This Vaso of 1956 presents a composition of an prehistoric-like character, where the angled forms and incised drawings are interpreted in archaic sense.
