Catalogue Note

This Vaso belongs to the so-called incontrollata series born from the collaboration between Roberto Crippa and Gianni Dova, both of whom began to experiment with ceramics ceramics in the workshop of Manifattura Giuseppe Mazzotti in Albisola, after joining the informale movement in the Early 50s. They discovered together a particular form of dripping technique preferred by Crippa, while Dova always preferred the use of colour spots and incised decorations.

M/3/IV/02
