Movement: gilded full plate, lever escapement, decoratively pierced and foliate engraved balance bridge, silver regulation plate, repeating on coiled gongsDial: decoratively engraved with a maiden carrying a basket of flowers in a wooded landscape, aperture for white enamel sector calibrated with minutes, the hours shown to a gold pointer mounted with white enamel roundels carrying Arabic numeralsCase: gold, engine-turned back, milled band, repeating locking slide to left of plunge pendant, case maker's mark IF within lozenge-shaped cartouche, numbered 1816, gilt-metal cuvette with aperture for winding and signed Vaucher Frères and numbered 11816

Condition

Dial: The enamel dial sector is catching on the underside of the front bezel and has not been opened - the hand setting is to the dial centre and therefore this has also not been tested. Case: With some rubbing to the edge of the engine-turned decoration and with some small indentations both to the back and band. Movement: Running at time of cataloguing. Repeating very sluggish and barely operational at present - will need attention.
