Description

Of floral design with an articulated stem, set throughout with old European and single-cut diamonds, accented by calibré-cut emeralds, sapphires and amethysts, one emerald and two amethysts missing, with Austrian hallmarks; circa 1925.

Condition

In good condition, the mounting with minor surface wear commensurate with age. One calibré-cut emerald and two calibré-cut amethysts missing. Austrian hallmarks on pin stem for gold, and on mounting for platinum. The diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 6.20 carats are approximately G-H color, predominantly VS clarity, a few with chips visible under 10x magnification, not noticeable when worn. The amethysts are a light violet color and buff-topped. The emeralds are medium light strongly bluish green, moderately included, and also buff-topped. The sapphires are medium blue, slightly included, calibré-cut. The colored stones with minor surface abrasions. Full length approximately 4⅞ inch. Fitted with pin stems on both ends, behind the large floral motif and on the surmount.
