Claw-set with a cushion-shaped ruby weighing 6.77 carats, between half-moon diamond shoulders, size 471/2, signed Chaumet, French assay marks for gold and platinum.

Condition

Accompanied by SSEF report no. 106229, stating that the oval ruby, weighing 6.77 carats, measuring 12.60 x 10.75 x 5.53mm, is of Burmese origin with no indications of heating and a moderate amount of oil in fissures. Signed CHAUMET PARIS, French assay mark for 18 carat gold and platinum. Ruby with surface reaching inclusions and minor chip to the pavilion. In good condition. Gross weight approximately 5 grams.
