Description

Claw-set with a sugarloaf cabochon sapphire stated to weigh 14.47 carats, within a mount set with square-diamonds and shield-shaped emeralds, size 47, signed Bulgari, French assay mark for platinum, maker's mark for Bulgari.

Condition

Accompanied by SSEF report no. 106427, stating that the cabochon sapphire, weighing 14.47 carats, measuring approximately 15.51 x 12.10 x 8.90mm, is of Burmese origin, with no indications of heating and minor amount of oil in fissures. Signed BVLGARI, maker's mark for Bulgari, stamped Pt 950, inscribed cts 14.47. Sapphire with surface reaching inclusion. One minor chip to the top. In good condition. Gross weight approximately 15 grams.
