Description

Set with oval and cushion-shaped rubies, highlighted with marquise-shaped and brilliant-cut diamonds, post and hinged back fittings, Swiss maker's mark.

Condition

Accompanied by Gübelin report no. 17081148/1 and 2, stating that the twenty-four oval and cushion-shaped rubies stated to weigh a total of 11.65 carats, measuring from approximately 4.26 x 3.96 x 2.87mm to approximately 7.61 x 5.57 x 2.66mm, are of Burmese origin, with no indications of heating. Each with Swiss maker's mark, stamped 750 for 18 carat gold. Rubies well matched in colour, red of medium strong saturation, with typical surface-reaching inclusions, small scratches, abrasions and nicks. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 8.00 - 8.50 carats, on average K-M colour, a few diamonds of yellow tint, SI-I clarity, Included, as gauged and graded in the mount. Minor signs of wear to the metal. In very good condition. Gross weight approximately 31 grams.
