Description

Set with a step-cut emerald weighing 5.40 carats, flanked by two tapered baguette diamonds, signed Cartier MTG, numbered, size 6. 

Condition

Accompanied by Gübelin and AGL reports no.19071128, dated 25 July 2019 and no.1094507, dated 31 July 2018 respectively, each stating that the emerald is of Colombian origin, with no indications of clarity enhancement; AGL further stating that the origin of this material would be classified as Classic™ Colombia. Please refer to the reports for further details. Metal tested as platinum, inscribed CARTIER MTG, numbered 53 - 50147. Emerald of medium dark bluish green colour and medium strong saturation, upon 10x magnification, there are minor typical inclusions with some surface reaching, some pits and a few tiny chips but hardly noticeable with unaided eyes. Diamonds are bright and lively. Signs of normal wear to the metal, overall in very good condition.
