Description

Of toi et moi design, set with an oval sapphire weighing 2.72 carats and a cushion-shaped diamond weighing 1.65 carats, to the calibré-cut sapphire or step-cut diamond shoulders with engraved edges, mounted in platinum, size 6¼.

Condition

Accompanied by Gübelin report no. 17022028, dated 5 April 2017 and AGL report no. CS 1076637, dated 8 July 2016, each stating that the sapphire is of Kashmir origin, with no indications of heating. AGL further stating that the sapphire with no clarity enhancement. Also accompanied by GIA report no. 1172791557, dated 10 August 2016, stating that the diamond is F Colour, VVS1 Clarity. Please refer to the report for further details. Inscribed platinum for the karatage of the metal, S2.62 and D1.65 referring to the weight of oval sapphire and cushion-shaped diamond respectively. Sapphire of medium dark velvety blue colour and strong saturation, eye-clean, under 10x magnification, there are a few very minor typical inclusions, a few nicks and minor light scratches. Calibré-cut sapphires are of medium dark tone, blue to violetish blue colour and medium to strong saturation, under 10x magnification, there are minor typical inclusions, a few minor abrasions and nicks but all not visible to naked eye. Step-cut diamonds are bright and lively. Signs of minor wear to the metal, overall in very good condition.
