PAIR OF FANCY INTENSE YELLOW DIAMOND, DIAMOND AND PEARL PENDENT EARRINGS, EARLY 20TH CENTURY

Description

Each designed as an old Euroepan-cut diamond drop-shaped hoop, highlighted with a pearl and an oval or marquise-shaped fancy intense yellow diamond weighing 0.93 and 0.92 carat respectively, suspended from the diamond-set line surmount, post and butterfly fittings.

Condition

Accompanied by two GIA certificates no. 5171426278 and 2175426284, both dated 21 December 2015, stating that the 0.93 and 0.92 carat diamonds are Fancy Intense Yellow, Natural Colour, SI2 and SI1 Clarity respectively. For further details, please refer to the reports. Please note that pearls have not been tested for natural origin. Stamped '8/4/03' and C.D.D. Post inscribed PLAT for platinum, white metal tested as platinum, hoop possibly platinum topped gold. Pearls are of button-shaped and white body colour, with rose and green overtones, measuring approximately 7.20 - 7.14 x 5.35 and 7.18 - 7.01 x 5.21mm, with natural blemishes, and a few fine scratches only visible under 10x magnification. Diamonds are bright and lively. Signs of normal wear to the metal commensurate with age, earring post possibly later-added. Overall in very good condition.
